Turning Off Firefox Browser Updates

These instructions are for disabling Firefox auto updates on an OSX operating system:

1. Open a Firefox window and click on the Settings gear icon on the home page
2. Click the ‘Advanced’ tab in the pop-up
3. Click the 'Never check for updates’ options

Instructions for Windows:

1. Click the Firefox tab
2. Click Options > Options                     
3. Click the ‘Advanced’ tab in the pop-up
4. Click the ‘Never check for updates’ option
5. Click ‘Okay’
